Challenge Gifts

St. John’s Mercy Medical Center received the largest gift in the hospital’s history – a $6 million challenge gift from St. Louis businessman, philanthropist and Sisters of Mercy Health System board member David Pratt – at the formal opening of the new David C. Pratt Cancer Center on September 24, 2003.

A three-level, 100,000-square-foot facility, the Center offers a full spectrum of care including PET scanning and other advanced treatment techniques. This gift is committed as 1:1 matching to gifts and pledges of $1,000 to $50,000. For more information, call the Foundation office at 314-251-1800 or make a gift online.
