Physician Campaign Recognition

Every gift from our physicians will be considered a part of the Doctors for St. John’s campaign, regardless of the size of the gift. Leadership giving will be celebrated in the following ways:

Doctors for St. John’s Mercy Circle is a St. John’s Mercy Foundation celebration of philanthropy specifically from physicians. It honors physicians who make annual gifts totaling $2,500 or more within a fiscal year. These gifts may be directed to a specific Medical Center program or left unrestricted to be used where they are most needed.  All gifts will be used exactly as directed.

Members receive the following benefits:

• Inclusion on a physician donor wall at the Medical Center, in the Doctor’s Tower lobby, and on a major interactive donor recognition piece in the main corridor of the Medical Center
• Special mention in several Foundation publications and the website
• A Doctors for St. John's Mercy shirt
• Two complimentary tickets to the special pre-party at Mardi Gras Masquerade
• Mercy Society membership at the Silver level or above

St. John’s Mercy Society recognizes all donors (not just physicians) who make gifts totaling $1,000 or more within a fiscal year. Members receive special donor listings, invitations to the annual Mercy Society event and all other events hosted by the Foundation, plus a special benefit for each level of giving:

• Bronze - $1000:  Silver Mercy Society pen
• Silver - $2500:  15% discount card for the Mercy Gift Shop
• Gold - $5000:  2 gift certificates for massage therapy at the Pratt Cancer Center
• Platinum - $10,000:  Use of two Mercy Society parking spaces at the Medical Center

Other
Major commemorative opportunities within the Medical Center such as facilities, wings, units and equipment, are available for naming in recognition for significant gifts. In addition, a Legacy Wall will recognize major gifts to the campaign, and will be displayed in a prominent location at the Medical Center. 

St. John’s Mercy takes very seriously its responsibility to those who give their resources to help further the Medical Center’s mission. Each donor will receive prompt, formal acknowledgement of the gift or pledge, and the funds will be used according to their instructions. All gift amounts will be kept confidential.  Donors may choose to be anonymous for recognition purposes.
