Dermatitis

Dermatitis is an inflammation of the skin. Dermatitis actually refers to a number of skin conditions that inflame the skin. Dermatitis is characterized by skin that may be red, swollen, blistered, scabbed, scaly, oozing, or itchy. Some types of dermatitis are caused by allergies, while the majority do not have any known causes.

Listed in the directory below are some of the different types of dermatitis, for which we have provided a brief overview. If you cannot find the information in which you are interested, please visit the Dermatology Online Resources page in this Web site for an Internet/World Wide Web address that may contain additional information on that topic.
