About Us
Practices managed by SJMAP
SJMAP operates more than 60 medical practices located throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area and surrounding counties. Practices range in size from a single physician to a group of physicians. SJMAP provides medical care in accordance with the mission of St. John's Mercy Health Care and the Sisters of Mercy Health System: to deliver quality health care with an emphasis on the poor and underserved. SJMAP physicians accept Medicare assignment, and participate in most major insurance plans, including commercial, Medicaid, Medicare risk, HMOs and PPOs. MAP physicians have admitting privileges with at least one St. John's Mercy hospital, including (but not limited to) St. John's Mercy Medical Center and St. John's Mercy Hospital.
