About Dr. Nick Chobanian
Prior
to opening his practice at the David C. Pratt Cancer Center, Nick
Chobanian, M.D., practiced gynecologic-oncology at Baystate Medical Center
in Springfield, Mass. Dr. Chobanian graduated magna cum laude from the University
of Vermont in Burlington. He completed his medical degree at the Dartmouth-Brown
Program of Medicine in Hanover, New Hampshire; his internship and residency
in obstetrics and gynecology at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio; and
his gyn-oncology fellowship at University of Kentucky in Lexington. He also
is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force and served as Chief
Director for gyn-oncology at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for several years.
In addition, he has been a clinical instructor at a number of institutions
of higher learning. Dr. Chobanian’s
special interests include gynecological malignancies and complex gynecological
surgeries.
