Clinical Measures:  Immunizations

What we measured:  Based on a representative sample of patient charts from each physician, SJMMG looked at patients who had received the standard group of immunizations, as required, by age 2:

  • DTap (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis)
  • H.influenzae or Hib (for meningitis),
  • Polio
  • Hepatitis B
  • MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella).

HP 2010 and HEDIS goals are the same. All results are based on representative samples of patient charts. HEDIS again groups the results in percentile rankings.  In this case SJMMG’s result exceed those of the top ten percent.
