NICU PROGRAM: O negative individuals
In this program, O negative donors commit to giving blood 2 to 4 times
a year. Their blood is dedicated for transfusions to our babies in
the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). These baby-saving heroes are
distinguished by the “Baby Foot” keychain that were given to them when
they commit to the making the difference to the lives of our NICU babies’
lives.
PLATELET DONOR PROGRAM: Dedicated donors who also give their time
In this program, donors of various blood types commit to giving a few
hours of their time to donate the gift of platelets more than once
a year. All donors get to select a gift card to a popular food/beverage
establishment after each donation.
Donors
who commit to donating six times a year
receive a special gift as a token of our
appreciation
for their generosity.
TYPE O DONOR PROGRAM: O positive and O negative individuals
Donors in this program commit to giving blood 2 to 4 times a year. The
donated blood is used for transfusions to our type O patients.
RARE DONOR PROGRAM: Individuals with Rare Antigens
These donors are people with very special blood that is hard to find.
Their blood is compatible with a small group of patients whose body
will tolerate only blood from specific donors. Donors in this program
commit to come in and donate blood whenever we contact them because
of a specific patient need.
