Our gynecological services include

  • Pap smears -This annual screening is important in diagnosing cervical cancer or other disorders. It is performed in the doctor's office with results available in a few days.
  • Breast exams -This annual exam, conducted by a physician or nurse practitioner, is helpful in diagnosing breast cancer or other problems.
  • Sexually transmitted disease evaluation and treatment - Women who are sexually active sometimes become infected with a disease through sexual contact with an infected person. Early diagnosis is important to prevent spreading the disease or allowing it to progress to more serious stages. If you have any symptoms of a sexually transmitted disease, it's important to see a health care professional immediately.
  • Vaginal infections - A woman does not have to be sexually active to develop a vaginal infection. There are many causes and a variety of types of infections. Proper diagnosis can help prevent damage to a woman's reproductive system and can rule out other diseases with similar symptoms.
