Patient Discharge Suite

St. John’s Mercy Medical Center is pleased to announce the opening of the Patient Discharge Suite. The purpose of this suite is to provide discharged patients with a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment while waiting for their transportation home. The Discharge Suite, staffed by registered nurses, is located in Suite 11 of the Mercy Doctors Building on the St. John's Mercy Medical Center campus. The Suite is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but flexible to the patient's needs.
The following amenities are available while the patient is waiting:

• Follow up physician appointments scheduled
• Physician referrals to a physician when needed
• Information about the services and physicians associated with St. John’s Mercy Medical Center
• Prescription service pick-up and delivery with Unity Pharmacy
• Comfortable recliners w/pillows & blankets
• Telephones
• Television with remote controls
• Magazines and newspapers
• Refreshments
