Mercy Family Medicine Office and Residency Program

Have you ever wished that one doctor could care for your entire family? Our physicians are trained to do just that. A family physician is a medical doctor who has completed three years of training after medical school. Photo of newborn playing

Mercy Family Medicine is prepared to take care of you and your family’s primary health care needs. We provide a full range of services for both children and adults, saving you the cost, time and occasional confusion of consulting separate physicians. We specialize in health promotion and disease prevention. This includes general check-ups for infants, children, adolescents and adults (including well woman exams), prenatal care, immunizations, cancer screening, smoking cessation, stress reduction, and diet and exercise counseling. Mission statement: Department of Family Medicine

We will provide an environment that promotes the development of resident physicians into compassionate and competent family doctors; in this process, we will provide opportunities for the professional growth of faculty, students, and office staff. We will provide exemplary, comprehensive, cost-effective care for the patients and families of our community while honoring the gift of life that is found in every individual through all of life's stages. We will continue to expand our role as a primary care leader at the Medical Center and in the community, and we will collaborate with other departments to support the mission of St. John's Mercy Medical Center.
