Hospitalist Services

Focused patient care.
Hospitalist physicians focus all of their attention on hospitalized patients. They work closely with other physicians, therapists and social workers involved in your care. Your hospitalist will follow up on diagnostic studies and adjust your treatment plan based on these results. This coordinated approach will ensure a smooth transition from the hospital.

Hospitalist physicians are available to answer your questions.
Since the hospitalists work only in the hospital, they are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week, to provide timely answers to any questions that you or your family may have, day or evening.

Coordination of care.
Your primary care physician provides your hospitalist with your pertinent medical and social history. In addition, your primary care physician is kept apprised of your condition and progress throughout your hospital stay.

We're working as a team to provide the best possible medical care.
If you need to speak to your hospitalist, ask your nurse to page them. Your primary care physician also wants to hear about concerns you may have. You may speak with your primary care physician during your follow-up visit or, for more pressing concerns, you may contact their office at any time.
