- Our experienced clinical pharmacists are available to assist the physician in calculating the formula so there is no need to worry with lab adjustments. Our pharmacists will also assist in transferring patients from TPN to Enteral as needed.
- Dedicated infusion intake nurse on location at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center to assist at discharges and patient consultation.
- Our skilled nurses work with TPN patients in the initial stages offering education administering TPN via rate controlled pumps, cleaning the site and recognizing signs and symptoms of infection. A nurse will visit on 1-2 times per week to monitor the patient’s weight and draw lab specimens, as ordered.
- Our knowledgeable staff will obtain authorization for Medicare and payers.
- 24 / 7 registered nurse and clinical pharmacists provide personalized support for patient and caregivers, including weekends and holidays.
- St. John’s Mercy Medical Center dietitians are available for consultation and coordination of care.
