"Due to the onset of H.E.L.L.P syndrome, severe toxemia,
I had to have an emergency c-section and my girls were not able to benefit
from steroids or any bed rest. We had a three month NICU stay and
came home with oxygen and monitors.They are 3 1/2 years old now and are
doing wonderfully. I wanted to be a NICUP because I truly believe that
only someone who has gone through this experience can fully understand
what it is like."
