James Bartelsmeyer, MD
Dr.
Bartelsmeyer is the Director of the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine
at St. John's Mercy Medical Center. He received his medical training at
the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois; and
did his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illiniois
Hospital in Chicago, and his Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at
Washington University in St. Louis.
Before joining St. John's, he was the Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine
and the Director of the Center for Woman's Wellness at Missouri Baptist
Medical Center in St. Louis. He was also an Associate Professor of Maternal
Fetal Medicine and the Director of Clinical Maternal Fetal Medicine Practice
at Washington University School of Medicine.
His special interests include recurrent pregnancy loss, multiple pregnancies,
autoimmune disorders, preterm labor, and cervical incompetence.
