Preplacement/Return to Work Screening

The POWER to Train
The POWER to Prevent

A Preplacement Screening (PPS) is preventative strategy to assist the employer in determining if a potential employee has the basic physical abilities to meet the critical physical job demands of the position they have been offered.

POWER Preplacement Screenings include:
  • Physical Assessment
    • Strength
    • Range of Motion
    • Posture
    • Flexibility
    • Issue Appropriate Strengthening and Stretching Exercises

  • Back Safety Education
    • Importance of Good Posture
    • Value of a Regular Exercise Program
    • Proper Body Mechanic Techniques
    • Job Demands Assessment

A Return to Work Screening (RTWS) is the same as a PPS but is performed when an employee has been out of work due to a personal or work related injury. This screening assists the employer in determining if the employee is physically able to safely return to work full duty.

Benefits of using our POWER PPS and RTWS’s:

  • Objectively establishes an employee’s baseline physical capabilities
  • Educates the employee how to prevent back injuries
  • Determines safe, proper job placement for the employee
  • Prevents placing an employee in a job they are physical unable to perform

Using our POWER Screenings will decrease
your work related injuries!
