Prosthetic Training

Our team of physiatrists, prosthetists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists coordinates several amputee services for the individual after amputation. Therapists have received extensive continuing education in the latest prosthetic advancements, such as the myoelectric upper extremity prosthesis and the C-Leg, a lower extremity prosthesis with a computerized knee joint. Our knowledge in the componentry and function of artificial limbs, as well as experience in managing the complications following amputation, enables us to assist individuals in reaching their maximal functional outcome.
