When your illness or injury
can't wait until you see your physician, or if you don't have a physician, a
St. John's Mercy Urgent Care Center is the place to receive prompt medical treatment.
The Urgent Care Centers are staffed by professionals associated with St. John's
Mercy Medical Center and is open seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Limited
hours on holidays.
H1N1 Vaccine
St. John’s Mercy Urgent Care Centers will offer H1N1 vaccinations to the public for $19. Nurses will be available to distribute the vaccinations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the following dates:
- Saturday, Jan. 23 – 300 Winding Woods Drive, Suite 100 in O’Fallon
- Wednesday, Jan. 27 – 300 Winding Woods Drive, Suite 100 in O’Fallon
- Saturday, Jan. 30 – 107 Piper Hill Drive, Suite 100 in St. Peters

Services
St. John's Mercy Urgent Cares have on-site X-ray and lab facilities to aid in
making prompt diagnoses. Here are just a few of the injuries and illnesses treated
at the Urgent Care Centers:
- sprains and fractures
- cuts and lacerations
- eye injuries
- rashes and minor burns
- cold and flu symptoms
- animal and insect bites
- outpatient physical therapy
services
In addition, the Urgent
Care Centers offer physicals for sports, work and school, flu shots and free
blood pressure checks without an appointment. Some insurance plans may require
a referral from your primary care physician. Please check with your insurance
company for more information. If you have been scheduled for hospitalization
or outpatient surgery at a St. John's Mercy facility, you can have your preadmission
testing performed at an Urgent Care Center. Following your treatment, the center's
staff will work with your personal physician if follow-up care is needed or
provide a referral if you do not have a personal physician.
Fees
The Urgent Care Centers are dedicated to providing convenient, cost-effective
care. The Urgent Care Centers accept most private and managed care insurance
plans. Payment can be made with cash, personal check, MasterCard or Visa.
Corporate Health
Through St. John's Mercy Corporate Health, the Urgent Care Centers provide urgent clinical
care for treatment of work-related injury and illness.
Additional services include:
- Substance abuse testing
and program management (DOT/Non-DOT)

(preplacement, DOT, return-to-work)
- Specialist referrals
and case tracking (Unity Edge)
- Industrial rehabilitation
