Imaging Services St. John’s Mercy Medical Center Imaging Services is dedicated to providing high quality medical images to physicians and patients. Imaging Services has radiologic technologists working to deliver medical imagery while keeping patients comfortable, relaxed and informed. Women often utilize our Imaging Service department for Bone Density testing. This test is used to measure bone mass in the areas most likely to fracture when bone mass is low. Bone density is not used to provide a diagnosis, but is used in combination with other procedures, along with personal and family medical history, to provide information toward or to support a diagnosis. |
