Women's Heart Screenings

It is a myth that heart disease is a man's disease.
In fact, cardiovascular diseases are the number one killer of women.

In most cases, women who died suddenly from cardiovascular disease had no previous symptoms of the disease. The key to staying healthy is to know your risks. Early detection can help save your life and prevent heart attacks.

St. John's Mercy Heart Hospital is pleased to provide community heart screenings to help you learn your risks and manage your health. To register, please call 314-364-3222. Screeings are available at the following locations, dates and times:

The screenings include the following:
  • Blood Pressure
  • Cholesterol - HDL, LDL, Total
  • Blood Glucose
  • Triglycerides
  • Body Mass Index
  • Waist Circumference

St. John's Mercy nurses provide the screenings and offer consultation time with each patient following the screening to review the results of the tests. 

Fee:  $25 Cash or Check (made payable to St. John's Mercy Corporate Health)
Please Note: Insurance (Medicare and Medicaid included) will not be billed for this service
