Blood Donor Services changes hours for donating blood

Starting Sept. 15, St. John's Mercy Blood Donor Services in Washington is changing its hours to Mondays from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The change is to create a more viable inventory level of blood products. Donors and physicians still will be able to reach Blood Donor Services at 636-239-8751 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday to make appointments. Blood Donor Services is located in Suite 100 of the St John’s Mercy Medical Building, 851 E. Fifth Street in Washington.
