Freedom from Smoking Series offered at St. John’s Mercy Hospital

Are you tired of your smoking habit? Thinking about quitting? Would you like to have help? The Educational Services Department at St. John’s Mercy Hospital will hold a free orientation about its upcoming Freedom from Smoking Program.

The free orientation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 5, in the Educational Services Department at St. John’s Mercy Medical Building, 851 East Fifth Street in Washington. The orientation will offer information about the next Freedom from Smoking Series, a program that helps smokers become quitters.

Class for the entire series meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Mondays from Jan. 5 to Feb. 16 and on Wednesday, Jan. 28. Although the orientation is free, the cost to attend a full session is $100. Checks should be made payable to St. John’s Mercy Hospital and are due at the Jan. 5 meeting. For more information, and to register, call 636-239-8004.
