Five St. John’s Mercy Physicians to Staff
New Pacific Medical Office
Five new physicians are coming to Pacific as St. John’s Mercy Medical Group (SJMMG) opens a new medical office on Monday, Aug. 24. The new office is located at 2716 W. Osage St. and will be staffed full-time by Drs. Stephanie Meyer and Christina Garetto, family medicine physicians, and part-time by Drs. Christy Bleckman and Bruce Glover, OB/GYNs. In addition, Dr. Dinesh Vyas, a general surgeon, will see patients at the Pacific office. New patients of all ages are welcome. For more information or to make an appointment, call 636-271-4000.
Among the new SJMMG physicians joining the Pacific office are two from the Washington, Mo., area – Dr. Stephanie Meyer, family medicine physician, and Dr. Christy Bleckman, OB/GYN. Dr. Meyer, originally from New Haven, Mo., is glad to be practicing medicine so close to where she grew up. “After years of medical training, it’s nice to return to Franklin County to care for people I’m so proud to call my friends and neighbors,” said Dr. Meyer.
City officials have been supportive about St. John’s Mercy coming to Pacific. “We are thrilled to have additional health care services available to the people who live and work in Pacific,” said Mayor Herbert C. Adams. He adds that the SJMMG Pacific office is located in Osage West Plaza where Edward Jones and Dance Connection also are located.
SJMMG is part of the St. John’s Mercy physician enterprise, which includes more than 300 integrated primary care and specialty physicians practicing in more than 80 practice sites in metropolitan St. Louis, Washington, Union, Gerald, Eureka and Pacific. SJMMG physicians are affiliated with St. John’s Mercy Hospital in Washington and St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis. For more information about SJMMG, please visit www.stjohnsmercy.org/mmg.
