The Auxiliary
The Auxiliary received their seventh Auxiliary of the Year Award in 2007 from the Missouri Hospital Association. This Auxiliary is open to volunteers who would like to blend their unique qualities and skills to help St. John's Mercy Hospital promote the health and welfare of the community.

Mission Statement
Spirit of the Living God, we come before you today, as St. John’s Mercy Auxiliary community, to re-affirm our commitment to your healing mission.

Gracious God, with the guidance and support of your Spirit, we bring your presence to all those we serve and with whom we serve.

Lord, we renew our commitment this day to serve your people in Mercy. We are gifted people and you have done great deeds for us.

We commit to continue this service with one another and on behalf of one another. We will strive to care for each other even as much as we care for ourselves.

Past the seeker while in prayer, came the infirm, the homeless and the disadvantaged. And seeing them, the Holy one went down into deep prayer and cried, “Great God how is it that a loving creator can see such things and yet do nothing about them?” And out of the long silence, God said, “I did do something, I made you.”

Lord we ask for your blessing as you call us to your healing mission. We dedicate ourselves anew to our ministry here at St. John’s Mercy.

What Does an Auxilian Do?
St. John's Mercy Hospital Auxiliary welcomes those who would like to blend their unique qualities and skills to help St. John's Mercy Hospital promote the health and welfare of the community.

Our Auxiliary is a charitable organization of women and men of all ages dedicated to raising funds to donate to the Hospital, and to bringing the mission of St. John’s Mercy Hospital to life within the Hospital and throughout Franklin and surrounding counties.

What Does the Auxiliary Do?
The Auxiliary provides members with many opportunities to make a difference. We have special events, exciting fundraisers, luncheons, special Gift Shop sales…and we give you the opportunity to enrich your life, to recognize the gifts you are given and to return those gifts to others.
