St. John’s Mercy Medical Center Ranks First in Category for "Best Places to Work" in St. Louis
The St. Louis Business Journal has named St. John’s Mercy a first-place recipient in St. Louis' “Best Places to Work” category of 2,000+ employees.
This comes on the heels of St. John’s Mercy’s recognition of highest patient satisfaction score among St. Louis hospitals in the recent release of patient satisfaction from the HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems). "These are outstanding recognitions for our co-workers, physicians and volunteers and a tribute to all of our efforts to create a truly healing environment for our patients and families," said
Denny DeNarvaez, President and CEO, St. John's Mercy.
The Best Place to Work award was presented at the “Best Places to Work” dinner sponsored by the St. Louis Business Journal on April 10. More than 1,100 co-workers at the Medical Center participated in the survey which was conducted and tabulated by an independent firm, Quantum Market Research, Inc. Employees from some 200 companies participated in the survey, with the top three companies across five categories based on number of employees receiving awards as Best Places to Work.
