Contract Those chosen for the OR Fellowship are required to sign a contract with SJMMC. This contract does stipulate a specific amount of time to be worked in the OR at SJMMC after completion of the OR Fellowship program. During the Fellowship, orientees will work from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or will work their preceptor’s shift for a given time. Toward the end of the fellowship, orientees and supervisors strive to match the orientees with preferred specialty area and working hours based upon the then current needs of SJMMC OR.
