Application

An application packet may be requested from the program director in the fall prior to the next incoming class.  The deadline for the completed application and non-refundable fee is November 30th.  Classes traditionally begin the last week of June of each year.

Viable applicants are invited for a program orientation, laboratory tour and personal interview with the program’s admissions committee.  The entire process takes two to three hours.

Admission to the CLS program is on a competitive basis. The CLS program’s admissions committee evaluates each applicant based on academic and non-academic criteria such as science GPA, math GPA, work experience, references, and personal interview.  Eight students are selected for each incoming class.

Selected students, alternates and others are notified by the third or fourth week of December by the program director.

If you would like to apply for the next incoming CLS class, please insure you meet the requirements for application (see the Requirements for Application link on the right hand side). If you feel you meet the requirements for application, please print out the four documents below and complete them as directed.

  1. Applicant Letter
  2. Clinical Laboratory Science Program Application
  3. Degree Confirmation
  4. Reference Form
