Application Process

Application Information

The Mercy Family Medicine Residency accepts applications through ERAS through December 31 of each calendar year. We require a minimum of two letters of reference, a Dean's letter, medical school transcript, and a report of all USMLE and/or COMPLEX attempts.

Interviews are scheduled during November - January and complimentary lodging can be arranged for out-of-town applicants.

Medical Student Rotation

Third-year medical students may do required clerkship rotations at our program. Fourth-year medical students may apply for one month sub-internship or externship rotations as well. Our externship rotation is predominately an ambulatory rotation with supplemental didactics sessions and workshops. The sub-internship requires assuming the care of one admission per day. In addition the student will take one call per week throughout the rotation on a date of his or her choosing.

Interested students should complete the application form and mail it to the address below.
