Top Baby Names from St. Louis’ Childbirth Leader –
St. John's Mercy Medical Center Adds New Feature to Web Site
More than one in four babies born in St. Louis is welcomed into the world at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center. St. John’s Mercy has recently added a monthly top 10 list of baby names used at the Medical Center to its Web site, www.stjohnsmercy.org/babynames.
“A national list of most popular baby names is released yearly by the Social Security Administration, but there was nothing specific to St. Louis,” said Beth Himes, RN, executive director of nursing for women’s services. “We thought St. Louis parents would like seeing the most popular names of babies born at St. John’s Mercy each month.”
Isabella, Jack/Jackson top the list for most popular girl and boy names at St. John’s Mercy in April.
