St. John’s Mercy Foundation Presents ‘Benefit 4 the Kids’ Week

Week Starts with Golf Tournament and Ends with Dinner Auction

WHAT: A full week of activities for kids at St. John’s Mercy Children’s Hospital and adults who care for them.

WHEN & WHERE:

  • Monday, July 28 – Whitmoor Country Club
    12:30 p.m.
    Fifth Annual “Benefit 4 the Kids” Golf Tournament

 

  • Tuesday, July 29 – St. John’s Mercy Children’s Hospital
    10 a.m.
    Energizer Bunny visits pediatric areas
    1 p.m. Music Therapist Michael Straugh will entertain and teach the kids with music

 

  • Wednesday, July 30 – St. John’s Mercy Children’s Hospital 10:30 a.m. Lobby display with renderings of new Cardinals Kids Cancer Care
    1 p.m. Fred Bird to visit pediatric patients

 

  • Thursday, July 31 – St. John’s Mercy Children’s Hospital
    11 a.m.
    Ronald McDonald entertains the children with a magic show in the Ronald McDonald Family Room. He will then visit all pediatric patients.
    1:30 p.m. “ Marla the Juggler” will teach kids to juggle with a fun and unique technique.

 

  • Friday, Aug. 1 – Sheraton Westport Lakeside Chalet
    6 p.m.
    “Benefit 4 the Kids” Dinner Auction sponsored by Bissinger’s Handcrafted Chocolatier.

WHY: “Benefit 4 the Kids” Week is to celebrate the patients, families and caregivers who will benefit from the annual golf tournament and dinner auction. Proceeds from the events will benefit four programs at St. John’s Mercy Children’s Hospital – the Child Development Center, neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric intensive care unit and pediatric oncology.
