St. John’s Mercy Offers Bike Helmet Fitting and Safety Check in Fenton

St. John’s Mercy is offering a free bike helmet fitting and safety check from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3 at the St. John’s Mercy Medical Building in Fenton, 1203 Smizer Mill Road.

As the only Level I trauma center in St. Louis County, St. John’s Mercy is pleased to provide this free service. Parents and children will learn the correct way to wear a helmet, get information on safe bike riding and learn what happens in a crash by viewing a model brain. St. John’s Mercy nurse educators will help ensure helmets are properly fitted. New helmets may be purchased and fitted for just $10.

For more information or to register for an appointment, please call 314-822-PEDS (7337) or visit www.stjohnsmercy.org/classes. Appointments are preferred.
