Two Mercy Affiliated Physicians Practices Merge

Two Mercy Affiliated Physicians (MAP) practices, Mercy Cardiology and Midwest Heart Group, have merged to form one practice known as St. John’s Mercy Heart and Vascular. The combination allows St. John’s Mercy to bring together the strengths and clinical expertise of these two well-established groups.  

St. John’s Mercy Heart and Vascular includes the following physicians:

• Bruce Czarnik, M.D.
• Louis Deane, M.D.
• Joseph Dwyer, M.D.
• Robert Ferrara, M.D.
• John Hubert, M.D.
• George Kichura, M.D.
• John Nash, M.D.
• Louis Stickley, M.D.
• James Stokes, M.D.
• Anthony Sonn, M.D.
• George Vournas, M.D.
• Jeff Ciaramita, M.D.

MAP physicians participate in most major insurance plans and have admitting privileges with either St. John's Mercy Medical Center or St. John's Mercy Hospital in Washington, Mo.
